Gilson National School: Meetings This Week

The Gilson National School will be busy tomorrow night as the Gilson Summer school will be holding a meeting at 8.30pm in the staff room while Scouting Ireland will have theirs in the hall at 8pm all welcome to both!

Photography Course In Ballinacree Community Centre

Photography Course
Find your photographic voice through a six week Photography Course starting on Saturday March 14th 10am – 12noon in Ballinacree Community Centre costing €35 for the entire course which includes an exhibition. Participants are asked to please bring a camera and laptop. Refreshments will also be served. This course is funded by the LMETB (Louth Meath Education & Training Board). These are just some of the FREE courses currently being offered by the LMETB for unemployed or early school leavers in the Oldcastle/ Kells/Navan area. All of the courses lead to a FETAC award.

Whats happening this week in Oldcastle

Okay Oldcastle, Good Morning! Theres a lot happening this week so for those of you who are interested ( and I’m sure there are many)

Monday 2nd Feb: Tourism meeting at 8pm in Caffreys bar with Johnny Guirke
Tuesday 3rd Feb: Blood Bank will be taking much needed donations in the Oldcastle National school
Wednesday 4th Feb: Would you like to see the Scouts start up in Oldcastle? An information meeting will take place in the Oldcastle National school at 8pm
Thursday 5th Feb For all you muggles and wizards out there the Oldcastle library are holding a Harry Potter night at 6.30pm! Come along to a night of fun, puzzles, magic and quizzes. Contact the library to sign up at 0498542084.
