When the school term ends….

During the summer of last year, here in the office we asked parents to hand in any school uniforms that were no longer needed, e.g. uniforms dont fit or will not fit later on or simply that the pupils or students are leaving primary/secondary. The reason we did this was to sell them back to our community at a huge discount price to help keep costs down to the bare minimum.

Obviously we are not looking for you to hand them in now this is just to let you know what we will are planning, all we are asking is that you keep us in mind when the school term ends so that we all can help each other, we had a huge response last year and we would love to see it happen again, Thanks!

Oldcastle Carer’s Group: Your Suggestions Please!

Good morning everyone!

As you may know, we are helping to set up a Carer’s Support Group here in Oldcastle. We have a couple of questions for carers, and it would be great if everyone could share this around so we get feedback from as many carers as possible.

1. Would you like to have a support group for Carers in Oldcastle?

2. What time of day would suit you to meet? Morning, afternoon or evening?

3. What day of the week is best for you to meet?

Please feel free to share this with anyone you know who is providing care for a relative, friend or neighbour.

Many thanks!
