OCRG Update. Website Goes LIVE !

After many weeks of planning, preparation and data collection, the Oldcastle Community Resource Group website is now up and running.

In setting up this FREE source of local information, we hope it will be a useful and lasting asset to our community. Businesses, non-business organisations and individuals with something to offer our community can use the website to keep us informed of what they are doing and what special events or offers are planned. If you are an artist or a performer, the OCRG website is a great place to reach your target audience.

In our Featured… section, we aim to highlight one randomly selected entry from both the Business Directory and the Community Directory each day of the week. This gives everyone in our listings the chance to feature on the front page of our website and on our Facebook page.

Visitors to the website who want to find out about activities and events in Oldcastle can check out the “What’s On” section. There are plenty of local activities available for free or at low-cost. If you are a consumer, our Business or Community Directories are both searchable so you should be able to find what you are looking for quickly and easily.

As with all new ventures, we don’t expect to get everything right straight away. Some parts of the website are still a work in progress, particularly the Directories sections where complete information was not available to us prior to the launch of the site. For corrections or additions to our website, please let us know and we’ll be happy to update our data.
