A Men’s Shed for Oldcastle?

mens_shed_picGood morning to you all on this cold and rainy day, hope you’re doing okay out there! Here’s the thing, we are looking for men interested in helping set up a Men’s Shed here in Oldcastle.

What we would like is if you are interested please contact us here in the community office either by email, text ( our number is 087 712 6377 ) twitter or simply walk in! We feel the town and everyone in it could really benefit from having a shed here, so if you think it’s worthwhile let us know.

Walking Your Pet Safely in Oldcastle

A02JAAHello Oldcastle and happy Nollaig na mBan! Some people have brought it to our attention that there really isn’t any place safe where pet dogs can be walked or let run to play.

If you know of a place or area you feel could be used or would like to meet others who feel the same regarding this please let us know and we will share the information.
